Pure Data is free software that has been ported to many platforms. There are two flavors: Vanilla, which is written and maintained by Miller Puckette, offers core functionality, and Extended, which add libraries and extensions added by the Pd developer community.

Either version can be downloaded here. We recommend you download the Pd-extended build for your computer.
